Government Affairs This committee's primary function will be to keep a watch on rezoning and development issues that might affect our neighborhood, and to act as a voice of the neighborhood to local government. We are looking for committee members to help Tom! Chair - Tom Walden Beautification The goal of this committee is to enhance our natural surroundings, and to encourage involvement from resdients in beautifying our neighborhood. Co-Chairs - Dan McKeague & Martha Weinstein Crime Watch This committee oversees the crime watch program in our neighborhood. The committee's role is to review progress and maintain communication between TPD and our neighborhood block captains, as well as other assisting with this effort. Crime Watch Coordinator- Jennifer Vrynios Communications The communications committee oversees the neighborhood newsletter, website and other forms of communication betwen the board and residents. Chair - Tom Berger Hospitality The name speaks for itself. The goal of this committee is to welcome new neighbors to Woodland Drives. Chair - Tera Teders & Anna Blackman Parents Council Yahoo Group We have quite a number of young families in our neighborhood. Our Yahoo Group keeps them up-to-date regarding issues that affect them and their children. To get on the list, email Kristen Broadway. Lafayette Street Energy Challenge We know that a collection of small actions taken by individual households to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions can make a significant impact. So our goal is for the Tallahassee Neighborhood Energy Challenge to be a catalyst in combating climate change and promoting energy conservation.
